What it is and who it fits
The ER-925E is the ER-900E Series raised-key, single-printer model. Its 21 keyboard PLU keys work like traditional departments or preset-price keys, and a SAM4s dealer can expand the keyboard to 63 PLU keys. The journal is kept electronically.

Consider a different model when
- ER-945E if you need a printed journal as well as the receipt (same keyboard, two printers).
- ER-920E if staff ring a large menu from preset item keys, as in food service.
- ER-915E if you want receipt and journal printers with a smaller keyboard.

Key features
- One receipt printer, electronic journal. A 22-line-per-second thermal printer; the journal (up to 50,000 lines) can be printed at end of day, saved to SD card or polled by a PC.
- Operator and customer displays. A blue backlit two-line, 16-character LCD for the operator and a rear 9-digit LED display for the customer.
- SD card port. Save and load the program, capture reports, update firmware and upload receipt graphics.
- Card payments. One Ethernet port for semi-integrated DC Direct payments; EMV needs a compatible PIN pad and a persistent internet connection.
- Everyday capacity. Up to 500 guest checks, 2 price levels per PLU, 4 tax rates or tables and sales-by-day reports for 31 days.
- Languages. English, Spanish or French.

Electronic journal. This register can keep journal records electronically inside the machine rather than only on paper. That is an electronic recordkeeping capability, not an extra print station: it does not add a second built-in printer, and it is not an external kitchen or remote impact printer.

Supplies
This model uses 58 mm (2.25 in) receipt paper. Check the roll diameter your printer accepts as well as the width, since width alone does not guarantee fit.
