SAM4S ER-900 Cash Registers

Five current SAM4S registers share this family: four ER-900E Series models (ER-920E, ER-925E, ER-940E, ER-945E) and the compact ER-915E. They differ in two ways that decide the choice: the keyboard, and whether the register prints a paper journal as well as the receipt. Every model includes a cash drawer and a customer display, and standard programming and setup.

  • Flat keyboard (ER-920E, ER-940E) 150 spill-resistant keys with 100 programmable locations, for food service and menu-driven counters.
  • Raised keys (ER-925E, ER-945E) 52 keys with 21 keyboard PLU keys, expandable to 94 keys / 63 PLU keys, for retail and department-driven counters.
  • Compact raised keys (ER-915E) up to 41 keys with 7 keyboard PLU keys, with receipt and journal printers.
  • One printer or two the ER-920E and ER-925E keep the journal electronically; the ER-940E, ER-945E and ER-915E also print a paper journal.

What every ER-900E model shares

  • Printing direct thermal, drop-and-print, 22 lines per second, 58 mm paper.
  • Capacity up to 22,000 PLUs and 99 clerks; electronic journal up to 50,000 lines.
  • Displays a two-line, 16-character blue backlit LCD for the operator and a rear 9-digit LED for the customer.
  • Connections 2 RS-232C serial ports (4 with the option board), an SD card port and one Ethernet port for DC Direct integrated card payments.
  • In the carton Model 60 cash drawer (5 bill / 5 coin), starter paper roll, key set and user manual.
