SAM4s ECR WarrantyPlus℠ – 4½-Year Extension extends the manufacturer-backed warranty on an eligible SAM4s electronic cash register.
What you end up with: SAM4s ECRs ship with a 6-month standard warranty. Adding this extension takes the total warranty term to 5 years, the maximum CRS allows.
CRS order suffix: -4.5YWE
Important: This is an add-on for an eligible SAM4s ECR, not a standalone purchase — CRS requires the suffix to be appended to the covered register's item number. It must be obtained within 30 days of the original equipment purchase and is available in the contiguous 48 United States only. Coverage excludes software other than the original operating system installed in the terminal, keyboard overlays, cash drawer insert trays, and cash drawer bill weights and bill-weight springs. Administered under CRS Service Shield℠ terms.
