Remote support rate: $100/hour. 30-minute support blocks are $50 when available. Support hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Eastern; we do not offer 24/7 support.

Description

Two hours of remote programming or configuration work for a supported SAM4S cash register.

Programming rate: $100 per hour.

This option is appropriate for larger sets of register changes such as departments, PLUs/items, tax settings, receipt headers, keyboard or menu changes, scanner/database configuration, and other configuration work.

Programming requests should be scoped before substantial work begins. Large data imports, complete register builds, multi-register programming, complex conversions, or programming transfers may require a separate project quote.

This service is for programming/configuration. For troubleshooting or operating help, choose a Remote Register Support service instead.

Before you buy

  • Have the exact register model and a written list of the changes you need. Programming is scoped before substantial work begins, so a clear list keeps the time productive.
  • Preserve your current setup first: print the reports you rely on, and save existing programming with a supported PC utility where one is available.
  • If this is a full register build, a multi-register rollout or a conversion from another system, ask us to scope it before buying blocks of time.
  • See programming help by model, the cash register manuals hub and the PC utility downloads.
  • Read the full support and programming policy, including hours and rates.

Complete your system

Take card payments through the same system

Integrated payments mean the card terminal and the register talk to each other, so the sale is entered once and the totals agree at the end of the day.

Enter the sale once

No keying the total into a separate terminal, and no reconciling two sets of numbers because someone typed it twice.

One setup, one support call

The register, the peripherals and the payment side are set up together, so when something needs attention there is one number to ring.

Checked against each other first

We verify the register, the processing program and the integration path as one combination before recommending it, rather than assuming parts fit.

A processor change is not required to buy equipment. If you are already taking cards, send us a recent statement and we will tell you plainly whether a change is worth making.
