SAM4POS Touchscreen Systems

SAM4POS is the touchscreen direction for businesses that need capabilities beyond a traditional electronic cash register. It is configured and quoted as a complete solution — software, terminal, peripherals, payment workflow and programming decided together — rather than bought as a standalone computer.

Who it fits

Counters that have outgrown a traditional register: more items than a keyboard layout can carry, menu or modifier-driven ordering, several staff needing separate reporting, or connected equipment that has to work as one system. If a traditional register still covers the workflow, that remains the simpler and less expensive answer — the Register Finder will tell you which path fits.

Where the SAP-630II fits

The SAM4S SAP-630II is the register-style touchscreen terminal intended for configured SAM4POS systems. It runs an Android operating environment but keeps what makes a cash register fast at a busy counter: a physical keyboard, integrated receipt printing, an operator and customer display and a cash drawer, alongside the touchscreen interface. It comes in two keyboard configurations — raised-key (RT) and flat spill-resistant (FT).

What gets decided together

• Software and configuration — retail or restaurant setup, departments, items, pricing and reporting. SAM4POS licensing depends on the hardware or package selected. Some current SAM4POS systems are sold as hardware and software bundles with the applicable license included. Check the individual product page for exactly what is included.
• Terminal — keyboard configuration, operator and customer displays, integrated receipt printing and cash drawer.
• Peripherals — kitchen or remote printers, barcode scanners, customer displays and additional drawers. Compatibility depends on the exact hardware, interface, cable, firmware and programming, so we confirm the complete combination before recommending it rather than inferring it from a model name.
• Payment workflow — payment-terminal and processor compatibility depends on the exact hardware, software, interface and processor program. A processor change is not required to buy the equipment.
• Programming, setup and support — model-specific work covering tax, departments and items, clerks, keyboard layout, receipt information and peripheral configuration. Programming is a separate service unless a package explicitly includes it.

We do not publish SAM4POS documentation yet. We do not link a manual to a system until the document itself identifies it, so rather than point you at something that may not apply, SAM4POS help and support covers what to gather before contacting us, and the support intake checks any purchase record and existing coverage first.
